At Larkholme, we offer our pupils the opportunity to meet a range of people from different religions through the Building Bridges Project. This runs along side the work we do with the local church and Rev Kate.
Mrs Thushanthan (a member of our welfare team) came in to talk to the children about Diwali.
Our local church donated a Nativity story book to all of Reception and KS1
Rev Ruth did a zoom baptism with Year 5 ad Year 6.
Mr Anwar talked to the children about interfaith and how we may all be different but on the inside we are all the same. This was followed by a workshop run by Rehanna, who discussed with pupils her life as a Muslim. The pupils were able to ask lots of questions and demonstrated respect and tolerance throughout the visit.
